Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Halo Ring
Circa 1870. This beautiful 18KT gold/sterling silver Victorian ring features a .71-carat prong-set, oval mixed-cut natural sapphire (no heat). The sapphire is bordered with ten bead-set, old European cut diamonds weighing .60 carats total, with SI2-I1 clarity and G-H color. The ring is stamped with Slovakia hallmarks.
Appraised Value: $7,100
The ring measures 12.5mm at the top, rises 6.7mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 0.9mm thick at the base of the shank.
