Edwardian Snake Ring with Diamonds
Dated 1915. This beautiful Edwardian snake ring curls around the finger in three coils of 18KT rose gold. Six rose-cut diamonds adorn the snake's head. The ring is stamped with Chester, England hallmarks. Snake rings were all the rage after Queen Victoria was given a snake engagement ring from Prince Albert, symbolizing eternal love. The ring is currently a size 8.5.
This ring is 14mm wide at the top of the ring, tapering to 7.5mm at the bottom of the shank. It is currently a size 8.5.
We size the majority of our rings; sizing takes approximately two weeks and is complimentary for most pieces, with the occasional exception.
