Midcentury 1.39-Carat Diamond Engagement Ring
Circa 1950. This gorgeous Midcentury ring features a lovely 1.39-carat, GIA-certified round brilliant-cut diamond set into a four-prong head. The diamond exhibits VS1 clarity and K color. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with two bead-set, round single-cut diamonds that weigh .20 carats in total. The setting features a pierced design with engraved wheat motifs.
Appraised Value: $13,450
diamonds. The ring measures 7.5mm at the top, rises 6.0mm above the finger, tapering to 1.0mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
