Circa 1880. This lovely 15KT yellow gold Victorian locket is beautifully hand-engraved with a fern motif. A solid buckle runs down the center of the face and back of the locket. For the Victorians, a buckle symbolized loyalty and lasting love, while a fern represented sincerity. Lockets pair perfectly with long Victorian gold chains.
This locket measures 37mm long, 50mm with the bale, and 28mm wide.  It is 10mm thick.
