Victorian Jeweled Russian Bird Brooch

Circa 1900. This amazing 18KT two-tone gold Russian brooch features a bird motif and is accented with a 7.25-carat bezel-set, oval cabochon-cut natural crystal opal, 143 old mine/single/rose-cut diamonds, 81, prong/bead-set, pearl/round mixed-cut natural rubies (1.76 carats), 86, bezel/bead set, round mixed/cabochon-cut sapphires (3.44 carats), 48 bead-set, round mixed-cut natural emeralds (.96 carats) and four freshwater pearls that compose the bodies of the baby and adult birds. The diamonds weigh 3.34 carats in total, with SI1 -I1 clarity and G-H color.
