Circa 1890. These beautiful Victorian dangle earrings feature banded agate set in 9KT gold. Agate, particularly banded agate, gained popularity in the mid-to-late Victorian period, notably during the mourning period when dark, subtle stones were favored over brightly colored gems.

The earrings measures 1.25 inches in length.
