Midcentury 1.57-Carat Platinum Diamond Ring
Circa 1950. This stunning platinum Midcentury ring features a beautiful 1.57-carat old European-cut diamond set into a four-prong setting. The center stone exhibits VVS2 clarity and N color. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with three bezel-set, baguette-cut diamonds. The side faces of the ring are accented with three bead-set, round brilliant-cut diamonds. These accent diamonds weigh .23 carats in total, with VVS2-SI2 clarity and E-G color. The settings are bordered with milgrain edging.

The ring measures 7.4mm at the top, rises 5.8mm above the finger, tapering to 1.3mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank.
