Late-Midcentury Marquise Diamond Ring with Sapphire Accents
Circa 1970. This fabulous 18KT yellow gold Late-Midcentury era ring features a stunning 2.85-carat marquise brilliant-cut diamond set into a six-prong head. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with four channel-set, baguette-cut diamonds, and four prong-set, marquise mixed-cut natural blue sapphires. The center stone exhibits I1 clarity and H color, while the accent diamonds shine with VVS2-VS1 clarity and G-H color.

The ring measures 18.2mm at the top, rises 10.1mm above the finger, tapering to 4.3mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank.
