Circa 1970. This wonderful Late-Midcentury ring features a 1.76-carat oval mixed-cut, bezel-set ruby. The setting is a vibrant 22KT gold. Engraved on the inside of the shank are the numerals 91.60 - referring to 91.6% pure gold, or 22KT.

Appraised Value:  $4,000

The ring measures 9.6mm at the top, rises 5.2mm above the finger, tapering to 2.5mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
