Circa 1900.  This fabulous 14KT Victorian double-hinged, bypass-style bracelet features a snake motif with floral hand-engraved details. The top of the snake is adorned with blue enamel and 23 bead-set seed pearls. The eyes are accented with two round garnet cabochons weighing .16 carats in total. For the Victorians, snakes represented eternal love. The bracelet fits a 6.5-inch wrist. Please note that this bracelet shows signs of repair at one hinge.

The bracelet measures 24.9mm wide at the top, rises 13.4mm above the wrist with an inner diameter of 50.7mm by 44.5mm. The bracelet fits a size 6.5-inch wrist.
