Victorian Emerald and Diamond Pendant
Circa 1860. This extraordinary 18KT gold pendant from the Grand Period of the Victorian Era features ribbon and bow motifs, along with scroll and floral motifs. The pendant features a central bead-set, cushion step-cut natural .56-carat emerald. The emerald is bordered with seven rose-cut diamonds bead-set into triangular-shaped settings. The top of the pendant is accented with one bezel-set, old mine-cut diamond. The bottom of the pendant is also bead-set with one old mine-cut diamond. The accent diamonds weigh a total of .39 carats. The back of the pendant features a glass-covered compartment to hold a keepsake.
