Victorian Five-Stone Diamond Linear Ring
Circa 1900. This dazzling 14KT yellow gold Victorian ring features a central prong-set old mine-cut diamond weighing .90 carats with I1 clarity and H color. The center stone is bordered on each side by one prong-set, round transitional brilliant-cut diamond, and one prong-set, old European-cut diamond. These four diamonds weigh 1.72 carats, with I1 clarity and G-H color. The five large diamonds are accented with eight prong-set, smaller round single-cut diamonds. The accent diamonds weigh .06 carats.
Appraised Value: $14,100
The ring measures 6.4mm at the top, rises 4.9mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 1.2mm thick at the bottom of the shank. It is currently a size 6.
