Midcentury Jelly Opal Ring Halo Ring
Circa 1950. This beautiful Midcentury silver-topped 14KT yellow gold ring features a luminous 7.25-carat oval cabochon-cut natural jelly opal set within four split prongs. The opal is haloed with 28 round mixed-cut natural garnets bead-set into sterling silver settings. Carved silver swirls accent each shoulder of the ring.
Appraised Value: $2,000
The ring measures 18.5mm at the top, rises 10.3mm above the finger, tapering to 1.4mm wide and 0.7mm thick at the base of the yellow gold shank.
