Circa 1900. This wonderful adjustable 9KT gold Victorian watch chain measures from 14 to 18 inches in length and is accented with a small charm. Watch chains with bars on one end (where they were fastened to a pocket) were called "Albert Chains" after Prince Albert who wore this style and made it popular. It is most common for women to wear this particular style of chain as a necklace. These chains make unique necklaces - it's so easy to add your favorite locket or pendant.
This chain is adjustable, from 14 inches to 18 inches. The links measure 6mm wide.
