Art Deco 1.55-Carat Solitaire with Emeralds
Circa 1920. This amazing 18KT gold Art Deco solitaire ring features a stunning 1.55-carat round transitional brilliant-cut diamond set into a six-prong platinum setting. Each platinum-topped shoulder of the ring is accented with three channel-set, calibre'-cut natural emeralds. The diamond exhibits VS1 clarity and J color. The emeralds weigh .30 carats in total, with moderately strong saturation.
Appraised Value: $20,550
The ring measures 7.8mm at the top, rises 7.0mm above the finger, tapering to 1.5mm wide and 1.0mm thick at the base of the shank.
