Circa early 1900s. This lovely silver necklace was made during the Vienna Secession and features organic shapes bordered by a structural frame, accented by lapis cabochons.
Jewelry produced during the Vienna Secession movement was textural - strongly influenced by the flowing lines of the Art Nouveau movement and avidly rejecting the frilly nature of Edwardian Era pieces.
