Circa 1870s. This Grand Period Victorian ring features a central 1.57 carat, deep blue, natural sapphire. Accenting the sapphire are 60 mixed-cut diamonds, weighing 2.45 total carats, with an S12-I1 clarity and G-H color and set in silver-topped 18KT gold. This ring is handmade.

The ring measures 16mm at the top, rising to 7.9mm above the finger, tapering to 4.4mm wide and 1mm thick at the bottom of the shank.
