Circa 1900. This incredible 18KT gold Victorian ring features a 2.80 carat yellowish-green natural cat's eye chrysoberyl, encircled by a halo of 12 prong-set, old mine-cut diamonds. Each shoulder of the ring is accented with one bead-set, old mine-cut diamond. The diamonds weigh 1.06 carats total, with an SI2-I1 clarity and I-J color.
Appraised Value: $5,875.
The ring measures 14.4mm at the top, rising to 7.6mm above the finger, tapering to 1.8mm wide and 0.8mm thick at the base of the shank.
