  • 5 Stunning Mexican Silver Pieces

Beginning in the 1920’s and 1930’s with Frederick W. Davis’s folk art crafts and William Spratling’s artist colony, Mexico has been producing some of the most incredible silver jewelry. With artists like Hector Aguilar, The Castillo Brothers, Margo de Taxco, and Antonio Pineda, the Mexican Silver jewelry community created necklaces, earrings, brooches & bracelets that were truly wearable art.

I hope you enjoy these five new pieces from our Mexican Silver collection as much as we do. (Four of these jewelry items have not even made it to our website yet.)

  • The Perfect Vintage Graduation Gift

In celebration of all our outstanding graduates, here are a few fantastic gift ideas to remind your graduate that their achievements are truly worth celebrating!

I was given a beautiful navajo and turquoise necklace upon graduating from university. Every time I wear it, I am reminded not only of not only what I have achieved, but what I can accomplish in the future. I treasure it for its beauty, personal significance, and sentimental value. A graduation gift done right is to delight in your loved one's major steps in life, and to give them a token- a reminder of the past, present, and future.

  • Non Traditional Wedding Rings Inspiration #1-- Retro Cocktail Rings

I’ve decided to do a series of blogs on one of my favorite topics—non-traditional engagement rings. Each month I will feature a different alternative wedding ring category. For our first month I would like to focus on one of my favorite categories, the Retro ring. And full disclosure, my very own engagement ring is a Retro buckle ring.

I find the Retro era one of the most exciting jewelry eras. Hollywood glamour mixed with Parisian creativity to create wildly unusual, beautiful, magnificent rings.  Characteristic qualities are unusual shapes; two-tone metals; diamonds; aquamarines paired with rubies; and stunning citrines.

Here are just six of the stunning Retro rings that would make me say "I do"!
