Circa 1904. This lovely Edwardian demi-band features 16 diamonds set in an 18KT yellow gold criss-cross patterned setting. Six large diamonds are set in linear fashion across the top of the ring and weigh .36 carats total, with a VVS2-VS1 clarity and G-H color. Ten rose-cut accent diamonds weigh .10 carats total, with an SI2-I1 clarity and I-J color. The ring is signed "H&S" with the Birmingham assay office.
Appraised Value: $2,850.
The ring measures 8.0mm at the top, rising to 4.3mm above the finger, tapering to 2.6mm wide and 1.1mm thick at the base of the shank. The ring is currently a 6 1/2.
