We welcome everyone into Isadoras Antique Jewelry and strive to offer the most genuine experience while shopping with us. We do so by offering our expertise as well as a breathtaking selection of one of a kind, antique items. Always remembering that our client's happiness is the essence of our business.
Located above Seattle Washington's historic Pike Place Market, for four decades Isadoras has curated and sold beautiful pieces of antique jewelry. Owned and operated by Laura Dalesandro since its inception, every piece in Isadoras is handpicked by the owner. She and her daughter travel the world seeking out pieces of age, beauty, craftsmanship and originality. And while many purveyors of antique jewelry carry both real and reproduction, Isadoras has maintained a steadfast loyalty to antique and vintage pieces only.
After 40 years in business, we believe more than ever in the investment worthiness of antique jewelry.
A Family Business. Owner Laura Dalesandro, with her partner, daughter and friend, Manager Elizabeth Schoenleber.
Laura Dalesandro has had a 40-year love affair with all things antique. Besides being a devotee of the artistry of the past, she is conscious of our dwindling natural resources and believes sharing art objects from the past is a wonderful way of conserving. Laura was born in Chicago and attended college in Wisconsin. Laura has owned and operated Isadoras for the past 40 years, traveling the world, seeking out pieces of age and beauty. Laura has appraised for the Henry Art Gallery and The Museum of History and Industry. Laura's Favorite Jewelry
Elizabeth Schoenleber, Laura's daughter, grew up with Isadoras, surrounded by beautiful pieces of jewelry. Elizabeth was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma and grew up in Seattle, Washington before attending Evergreen College where she earned a degree in psychology. She credits this degree with her rich understanding of people. She has worked for Isadoras for the last 17 years: traveling the world on jewelry buying trips, photographing pieces for Isadoras and managing the store. She considers Isadoras her path in life. Katie was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona, where she developed her love of art, culture and history. After living in Seattle for years, she decided to continue her education and is now a student of Economics at the University of Washington. Having been raised in a family that values antique and heirloom pieces, she enjoys helping clients find their own unique treasure.
Jill graduated with a BA in English Literature and minors in both History and Art History. And while she is relatively new to the remarkable world of antique jewelry, she appreciates the romance, innate artistic beauty, and historical connection specific to each and every Isadoras' piece. In the meantime, she happily works on the website and the blog (and fantasizes about growing her own heirloom collection).
Gemma's passion for fashion and identity began at an early age growing up as a third generation antique dealer and historian on Orcas Island, WA and Berkeley CA. Her love of storytelling, art, and design led her to earn a BFA in Integrated Design from Parsons the New School for Design in NY. She travels the world seeking knowledge about adornment, gems and culture, focusing on bringing to light the environmental benefits and legacy of antique jewelry.
