Circa 1950. This fantastic Mid 20th Century platinum ring is centered by a beautiful 3.40 carat cabochon cut sapphire. Each shoulder of the ring is pave set with eight single cut diamonds. The accent stones have a .18 carat total diamond weight, VS2-SI1 clarity and G-H color. Two diamonds are chipped. The ring measures 9.30mm wide and 7.10mm tall at the top, tapering to 1.70mm wide and 1.00mm thick at the bottom of the shank. The ring is currently a size 6 1/4. It can be sized to fit most fingers.
