Circa 1880. This handsome Victorian bracelet is composed of 18KT yellow gold links. The center link is shaped like an expressive lion, a .11 carat Old European cut diamond clasped in his jaw. Two delicate almandite garnets wink from his eyes. The two links on each side of the diamond are prong set with an Old European diamond. Encircling each diamond is a Greek key design. The center of the bracelet measures 20.60mm x 19.50mm x 8.30mm. The ring links measures 12.00mm in diameter and 2.70mm thick. The bracelet is 7″ in length. It has a safety chain.
