Circa 1920. This fantastic Art Deco handmade platinum topped 18KT yellow gold dangle style pendant is centered with a beautiful bezel set .40 carat synthetic sapphire (Synthetic sapphires were extremely popular in fine jewelry of this period). Accenting the center sapphire are twenty-three rose cut diamonds with a .07 carat total diamond weight, I1 clarity and J-K color and ten square step cut synthetic sapphires. Dangling from the central bar are fourteen single cut diamonds. The lower dangle is channel set with five step cut synthetic sapphires and one round old European brilliant cut diamond. The accent sapphires have a .30 carat total diamond weight. The accent single cut and old European cut diamonds have a .80 carat total diamond weight, SI2-I1 clarity and I-J color. The necklace measures 43mm long and 26mm wide. The attached 18KT white gold chain measures an overall length of 18 inches. The necklace weighs 5.3 grams.
