Rare Pools of Light Necklace Set

Circa 1920. Rare and beautiful “Pool of Light” jewelry has an almost un-worldy beauty. Composed of rock crystal held fast by silver, a “Pool of Light” orb is never pierced as the Chinese’s designers believed good luck resided in the stone and to pierce the stone would be to damage the stone’s chi. This particular set is stunning and unusual with four different elements: necklace, bracelet, earrings and ring. The stones are 14mm in diameter. The necklace measures 36″ in length. The bracelet measures 8 1/4″ The earrings dangle 27mm in length. They are screw backs. The ring measures 18mm in diameter and 10mm tall at the top of the ring. The base of the shank measures 2mm x 1mm.
